Working together in 2019, Bettina Caccia and Lisa Glenn Nobles bonded over spreadsheets and paper planners, and immediately knew that more was to come. What grew out of their friendship and work wife-dom was Simply Soirées.

Bettina Caccia has been planning events and travel for years through her work at A for Arizona, Leadership for Educational Equity, and Teach for America. Whether planning a personal, political, or nonprofit event, Bettina loves parties with a clear aesthetic. She has lived in Australia, England, and the United States and traveled to 22 countries and three continents, including jaunts to Indonesia, Montenegro, Curaçao, Slovenia, and New Zealand. Her favorite is still Paris—it was her first trip and a place that she and Grandmamother traveled together a lot. She also loves travel for the food, culture, and nature she can find.

Lisa Glenn Nobles was NOT a natural at event planning, but has always been an avid organizer, and between planning her own wedding on a very tight budget and organizing multiple nonprofit and corporate events, she realized that she had the knack. At Journeyage, she planned the annual Campsite retreat, and at Arizona State University, she supported events across continents. Lisa has lived in South Africa, and traveled to many Southern African countries, Southeast Asia, and Europe. She is still committed to the retirement goal of living on the beach in Mozambique, although that is now in contention with Vietnam after an amazing honeymoon trip.

In 2021, Lisa and Bettina met Tuesday Elias, another spreadsheet guru, travel aficionado, and party-planning gal. From Montreal to the Maldives, Tuesday also shares a passion for relaxing–but coordinated–plans. She has nearly a decade of experience planning large-scale events ranging from multi-school congregations, to president of her university’s student body and annual homecoming, to a governor’s formal Christmas party, and a $70M statewide summer camp program. The youngest of 6 siblings and the 18th grandchild in her family, Tuesday is not shy when it comes to toddler parties, weddings, holiday events, last-minute details…. and well, personalities! She is a partner to a Navy doctor (in training) and mom to a fur-doodle named Stevie.
